Ingredients
1/4 cup (60 mL) ginger, chopped
1/2 cup (125 mL) dark rum
2 cups (500 mL) tomatoes, crushed (canned)
1/2 cup (125 mL) hoisin sauce
1/2 cup (125 mL) ketchup
1/2 cup (125 mL) rice vinegar
1/4 cup (60 mL) brown sugar
3 Tbsp. (45 mL) fish sauce
1 tsp. (5 mL) Sriracha sauce
1 1/2 cups (375 mL) Oasis Pineapple Juice
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan.
- Bring to boil over high heat.
- Reduce heat & gently simmer.
- Stir & cook for 25 minutes.
- Pass through sieve & discard solids.
- Cool.
- Transfer to airtight container.
- Refrigerate up to 1 month or freeze up to 6 months.
