Folate

A B-vitamin that plays a key role in maintaining health, at every age. It helps make red blood cells. Because folate is not stored in our body, every day, we must eat foods that contain it1.

Potassium

An electrolyte and essential mineral, potassium regulates many of our organism’s vital functions. It helps the body control fluids and muscular contractions. It can also help reduce water retention, as well as the risk of hypertension, a factor in stroke2.

Did you know?

Orange juice even has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, due to its phytonutrient content, especially hesperidin?4 Hesperidin (or orange polyphenol) is a flavonoid, a type of plant pigment found in the skin and flesh of citrus fruits. Its beneficial characteristics may play a positive role on certain biological functions.5

How to incorporate orange juice on a daily basis?

Simply when eating breakfast.

For a maximum nutritional boost, a glass of orange juice is an easy and delicious way to complement your breakfast. With its fresh, energizing taste, it’s not surprising that it’s often associated with the first meal of the day!

By creating your own energy drink

When exercising for at least an hour, drinking ½ cup (125 mL) of orange juice can help give you the energy to perform. Enjoy it as is, or dilute it in your water bottle and add half a teaspoon of salt for an easy-to-prepare sport drink filled with electrolytes.

By making tropical popsicles

Refreshing and much more fun than regular popsicles, these home-made ice pops are easy to make:

Ingredients (for 8 popsicles)
· 1 cup of Oasis Orange juice
· 1 cup of vanilla frozen yogurt
· ½ cup of frozen tropical fruit (mango, pineapple, strawberry, kiwi…)
· Honey to taste

Preparation

  • Place all the ingredients in a mixer and blend until smooth
  • Pour your mix in ice pop molds
  • Let them freeze overnight or for at least 8 hours
  • To take out your ice pops, place the mold in warm water for 10 seconds or until they separate from it. Enjoy!

We think of everything!

Because, occasionally, 8 portions at once are essential! Oasis offers family sizes with or without pulp, because pulp preference is purely personal!

Regardless of preference or trend, there is an orange juice that is perfect for you and your lifestyle!
